I am a native English language speaker and have been teaching English in Luxembourg for the last 6 years. Previously, I have taught English to underprivileged children for 4 years. In my teaching career I’ve learnt that teaching is all about learning and that is what keeps me going. Since I am also a student of a new language (French), I understand the challenges of learning a language. I truly believe that everyone has their own learning style and each individual learns at their own pace.
I have invested a lot of time in creating interesting lesson-plans using situational role-plays, creative and unconventional methods of teaching. I use different teaching tools (video podcasts, memory games, newspaper articles) in an environment (cafés, parks, shopping malls etc.) relevant to the lesson and the requirements and age of the learner.
I have a Masters degree in International Public Relations from Cardiff University, UK. My thesis on Social Media is documented in the Cardiff University Library as an exemplary model for future reference to aspiring PR scholars.
