I worked as an Au-Pair for 2 years (in Germany and Luxembourg) and really enjoyed it, so now I'd like to be a babysitter in order to seek my own independence while still working with kids. The reason why I want to do so is that I've learned a lot from my Au-Pair years, from languages to supervising kids, managing my time and responsibilities, being part of a team, working on my communication skills, overcoming challenges and cultural barriers, and improving myself. I would say that being an Au-Pair has made me more independent, empathetic, and proactive. The kids would describe as weird, fun, playful, nice, and sometimes strict, but fair.
