Dear Future Host Family, I am Jael, 29 years old, turning 30 soon. I am currently an au pair here in Luxembourg and my contract will end in August and I want to add or extend my stay in Luxembourg and Europe. I am looking for a full time nanny job and I am hoping to find a kind, caring and loving family and be part of the family as their nanny here in Luxembourg. Also there are still a lot of places in Europe that I want to see and visit. I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Major in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Before coming to Europe, I had my On-The-Job Training for my degree in Singapore and 8 months of work as a housekeeping/room attendant in a Hotel in Sharjah, UAE. I had been an Au Pair in Scandinavia (Denmark and Norway) and the Netherlands and current here in Luxembourg. In the host families I had in Scandinavia, I took care of kids ages of 5- 13 years old. And in my Dutch host family I took care of a new born baby boy Valentijn and little Sebastiaan aged 2 1/2years old during my stay with them. It was a very sweet and heartwarming experience to see a baby grows everyday. I love being with kids and do fun stuff together. :) . I love to read books, I love to make scrap books or handmade letters whenever I have time. I love to cook, it has a calming effect on me. I can bake but not complicated stuffs. I like to bike too ( had an experience riding a bakfiets/cargo bike in the Netherlands) visit museums and historical places and also places undiscovered by tourists. I am fluent in English. I can speak a little bit Danish, Norwegian and Dutch but I can understand more than speaking it. I am currently learning German in INL. I can give references from my previous host families.
