Hi! I have two years of Au-Pair experience (in Germany and in Luxembourg) and six years of experience as an English Teacher, so I'd say I've been working with kids for quite some time now :) I learned a lot from my Au Pair years, from languages to supervising kids, managing my time and responsibilities, being part of a team, working on my communication skills, overcoming challenges and cultural barriers, and improving myself. I would say that being an Au Pair has made me more independent, empathetic, organized, and proactive. Also, I love kids. They'd describe me as playful, "weird" (like I might just start singing and dancing out of the blue and they'll love it), and nice, but sometimes strict. I allow them to have fun, but they also respect me and listen to me. I've had good experiences so far and love being around them, so why not continue doing that? :) I'm back in Luxembourg now, looking for a position as a nanny or live-out au-pair.
